Step 1 · Arriving at the building
Locate the SECRT 812 tower and enter through the main lobby entrance.
Step 2 · Reception check-in
Share your name and apartment number so front desk can validate your access.
Step 3 · Parking and vehicle access
If you arrive by car, follow front desk instructions for your authorized parking flow.
Step 4 · Elevator use
Use the assigned elevator card and select the floor for apartment access.
Step 5 · Hallway arrival
Once outside the elevator, follow the numbering signs until you reach unit 812.
Step 6 · Enter apartment 812
Use your digital door code and confirm the lock status once inside the apartment.

🗑️ Trash chute
For long stays, you may use the trash chute on your floor. From the apartment, turn left and continue to the end of the hall (near the emergency door, opposite to the elevators).
- • Always use closed bags.
- • Do not throw loose trash.
- • Do not force oversized bags or objects into the chute.
♻️ Recycling
You may separate cardboard, bottles, containers, plastic bags and other appropriate recyclable items.
Important: recyclables should not be thrown into the trash chute. Leave them neatly in the corresponding area beside the chute.
🧹 Cleaning during long stays
The cleaning fee included in your reservation covers full preparation before check-in and full cleaning after check-out.
It does not include weekly or periodic cleanings during the stay. Day-to-day upkeep is guest-managed, and additional cleaning can be requested with the host based on availability and cost.
🧽 Basic cleaning items
For everyday upkeep, the apartment includes basic items such as a broom, a mop and a basic floor cleaning product.
🧻 Initial supplies
We prepare a larger initial courtesy supply for long stays so your first days are more comfortable.
After these items are consumed, replenishment of daily-use products (toilet paper, trash bags, soap, shampoo, conditioner, detergents, coffee, sugar and similar consumables) is guest-managed.
🏠 Apartment care
Please keep the apartment in reasonable condition of cleanliness, order and care during extended stays.
Report maintenance issues promptly (water leaks, electrical issues, AC problems, humidity, slow drains, damaged furniture or appliances). Please do not attempt major repairs yourself.
Questions can come up during longer stays. If anything is unclear or you need support with the apartment, please message us and we will gladly help you find the best solution.
Condominium
SECRT Escalante rules
The apartment is inside SECRT Escalante, a residential tower with its own condominium rules and coexistence standards. These apply to owners, residents, tenants, guests and visitors.
👥 Registered guests and visits
Only registered guests may stay overnight. Occupancy limits must be respected, and access credentials must not be shared. Visits are subject to building rules: for stays of 5 nights or less, visits are not allowed; for stays over 5 nights, visits must be pre-coordinated with the host and properly authorized.
🎉 Parties and events
Parties, disruptive gatherings, unauthorized commercial activities, or any activity affecting residents' peace or safety are not allowed.
🔊 Noise
Please keep a reasonable noise level at all times. Building rules set a reference maximum around 45 dB and prohibit sonic disturbance (loud music, speakers, high TV volume, shouting, instruments, noisy meetings or vibrations affecting neighbors).
🚭 Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in common areas, balconies and terraces. As an apartment rule, smoking and vaping are also not allowed inside the unit.
🏊 Amenities and common areas
Use amenities according to schedules, capacity, reservations, signage, staff instructions and administration provisions. Temporary closures must be respected. Overnight stays in common areas are not allowed.
🚗 Parking
Parking can only be used when authorized and properly registered when required. Do not use spaces from other units, unauthorized common areas, block accesses, wash vehicles, or perform repairs unless exceptionally authorized.
🗑️ Trash
Use only building-designated disposal systems. Do not leave bags in hallways, in front of the apartment, or block common areas with waste or oversized items.
🪟 Balcony and façade
Do not throw objects or liquids from windows/balconies, place items that could fall, hang visible laundry, use balconies as storage, or alter façade elements.
🐾 Pets
If a reservation allows pets, they must still comply with condominium and Airbnb rules: supervised at all times, no excessive noise, no disturbances or damage, immediate waste pickup, and proper circulation in common areas.
⚠️ Fines and non-compliance
SECRT rules contemplate warnings, fines, corrective measures, damage charges and other sanctions depending on severity. Mid-level faults may reach up to half of Costa Rica's base salary equivalent when no specific amount is defined; repeated infractions in the same year may be progressively doubled.
If any fine, repair, damage or extraordinary expense is a direct and verifiable consequence of an infraction by the guest, companions or associated visitors, the guest may be held responsible through Airbnb's applicable mechanisms.
Serious or repeated breaches may be reported to Administration, Security and Airbnb, and can affect stay continuity based on applicable procedures. These standards exist so guests, residents and owners can enjoy a safe and calm environment. Thank you for your collaboration.

The apartment does not include a private washer or dryer. The tower has a paid shared laundry center operated through the Lava Fácil app, subject to availability.
If you need help with location, access, or process, please coordinate directly with concierge/lobby.
⚡ Electric vehicle charging
SECRT Escalante has a shared EV charging space. It is not exclusive to this apartment or reserved for our guests.
Usage is subject to availability, managed in defined time slots by Administration, and must be coordinated with concierge/lobby. Availability cannot be guaranteed for a specific time during your stay.

The apartment includes a Yale safe box where you can store small personal belongings during your stay.

- 5Enter your new code on the keypad.
- 6Confirm the code following the keypad or screen instructions.
- 7Before locking the safe, test the code with the door open.

- 3Wait for the bolts to retract.
- 4Open the door.
At check-out
- 1Remove all personal belongings.
